  • 1992 HTL developed its medical grade Hyaluronan production by fermentation using a natural, non GMO, bacterial strain as an alternative source of HA from cocks comb.
  • 1994 First commercial industrial medical grade Hyaluronan
  • 2001 HTL  obtained  its  first  certificate  of  Suitability   from   the    European Pharmacopoeia
  • 2007 HTL achieved an extensive expansion to become a modern fully cGMP facility regularly inspected by regulatory authorities
  • 2009 Inspected in June by the US FDA (CDER) with no 483 letter
  • 2013 Inspected in March by the US FDA (CDER and CDRH) with no 483 letter

Today HTL has diversified to produce other biological polymers (see new products) for the pharmaceutical and medical fields.
